Performance Management

  • Accountable for the performance management of a 15-member team, collaborating closely with the Tech Lead to manage the performance of developers and QAs.

  • My role involved setting clear expectations, aligning and tracking team goals, and assigning performance indicators at the end of every performance cycle.

  • Handled PIP discussions and redundancy conversations when absolutely necessary.

  • Assigned mentors to guide team members in their growth journey, and conducted monthly check-in calls to review progress on goals, address challenges, and provide ongoing support to ensure individual and team success.


Capacity & rotation planning

  • Accountable for team capacity planning and rotation.

  • Responsible for creating proposals to secure budget for additional headcount and interviewing candidates to select the best fit.

  • Ensure team leverage is maintained across roles, grades, tenure, and gender diversity.

  • Plan team member rotations and succession, aligning with individual interests and long-term aspirations.

Innovation & Culture

  • Fostered a spirit of innovation by organizing quarterly ideathons and hackathons to nurture the creative energy of team members

  • Maintained a strong feedback culture by facilitating monthly 'speedback' sessions, ensuring open communication and continuous improvement

Capability Development
